Economic Development Partners of Jefferson County

The EDP Mission is "To stimulate quality economic development to raise the standard of living and promote quality of life."

EDP Goals:

1. To help existing companies prosper, attract outside business and personal investment, and create a favorable climate for economic growth.

2. To increase non-residential share of the tax base to support quality public services.

3. To be a leading force for public/private collaboration to stimulate quality economic growth.

The EDP serves many roles in the community: marketing, resource for business/community, think tank, convener, and promoting a positive environment for economic development to occur.

The EDP serves Jefferson County, Indiana as its economic development organization, a not-for-profit agency, founded in 1983.  It consists of a board of volunteer community leaders who are dedicated to economic vitality in this community.
